TANGERANG - After the tsunami that struck the Sunda Strait on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in a number of areas and areas of Pandeglang Anyer-Carita, Banten, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) handed over aid to victims of the disaster. Submission of aid is the first stage, which will later be the next handover of assistance.

In addition, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) also sends volunteer personnel to the disaster area such as doctors and a number of personnel with other special abilities.

The assistance was handed over directly to the Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Muhammad Awaluddin through the company's volunteer leader Ayatullah on Tuesday (12/25/2018) morning. Deep sorrow was also felt by PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero).

"Angkasa Pura II expressed deep condolences for the disaster, especially for the victims and their families in Banten and Lampung. "Hopefully the process of improvement and search for victims can go well," said Muhammad Awaluddin on Tuesday (12/25/2018).

The assistance was a quick step for PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) to respond to the tsunami that hit a number of areas on the coast of Banten Province.

"This alert step is an effort to accelerate post-disaster recovery and to help alleviate the victims of the disaster," he said.

Awaluddin also said, "We helped send personnel such as doctors and other special ability personnel to the location to always help the victims of the disaster. It is hoped that the situation will quickly return to normal and we will always be protected by Almighty God ".

The assistance delivered by Angkasa Pura II was 1,000 blankets, 1,000 pieces of clothing, 200 mats, 200 raincoats, and food items such as biscuits, fast food, clothing and sanitary napkins which were divided into two Coconut Island posts in Lauhan Subdistrict and Kampung 2 Command Post Cibenda Desan Sukarame Carita District.
