Today the GeNose C19 service premiered again at three airports


Jakarta - All airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) will provide COVID-19 testing facilities using GeNose C19 in line with the provisions in the Ministry of Transportation Circular Letter Number 26 of 2021.

The GeNose C19 test facility was opened in stages at all AP II airports considering the readiness of various aspects such as equipment, human resources, and procedures.

On Monday, 19 April 2021, GeNose C19 services were opened at three airports, namely Radin Inten II Airport (Lampung), Supadio Airport (Pontianak) and Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport (Tanjung Pinang).

The opening of the GeNose C19 service at AP II airports was also carried out after obtaining approval from the Directorate General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation.

Periodically, the President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin conducts direct and periodic reviews of airports that have provided GeNose C19 facilities.

As for April 19, 2021, Muhammad Awaluddin directly reviewed the implementation of the GeNose C19 service at Depati Amir Airport, Pangkalpinang.

"The implementation of the GeNose C19 facility at Depati Amir Airport, Pangkalpinang, has been going well since it opened on 12 April. On April 19, the GeNose C19 facility was also opened for the first time at Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport (Tanjung Pinang), Radin Inten II Airport (Lampung) and Supadio Airport (Pontianak). We are sure that the test with GeNose C19 at AP II airports is going well because of the careful preparations that have been made. "

“GeNose C19 is one of the COVID-19 test facilities at the Airport Health Center at AP II airports. Other test facilities at AP II airport are the rapid antigen test and PCR test. We operate Airport Health Centers at all AP II airports to support prospective aircraft passengers to easily fulfill health protocols in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.

Muhammad Awaluddin said that the average use of the GeNose C19 at each airport is around 15% to 20% of the total number of airplane passengers every day.

In accordance with the Ministry of Transportation's SE No. 26 of 2021, domestic aircraft passengers during the COVID-19 pandemic are required to meet health requirements, namely showing a negative RT-PCR result certificate or antigen rapid test results, the samples of which are taken within 2 x 24 hours before departure. or a negative result of the GeNose C19 test at the airport within 1 x 24 hours before departure for flights to Bali.

Meanwhile, for purposes other than Bali, it is mandatory to show the prohibition letter for negative results of the RT-PCR test where the sample is taken a maximum of 3 x 24 hours or a negative result of the rapid antigen test whose sample is taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours before departure, or a negative test result. GeNose C19 at the airport within 1 x 24 hours before departure.

In the near future, GeNose C19 services will be opened again at other AP II airports.

The GeNose C19 services at all AP II airports are covered by competent third parties such as Farmalab, while the tariff for this service is IDR 40,000 per person.

Every prospective airplane passenger who wants to take a test with GeNose C19 is encouraged to register first through the Farmalab application, and pay attention to existing procedures such as not eating at least 30 minutes before the test.
